New haircuts for Andi & Kaleb

I wasn't going to get Kaleb's hair cut. I am so in love with his curls it hurts me to watch someone cut his hair. :) But.... Eric and Poopie have both been nagging me almost daily to let him get it cut. While we were at the salon looking at hairstyles for Andi, I gave in to the pressure from my sweet baby boy. :) It was hard to watch his curls hit the floor but he very tenderly said, "don't worry Mommy, it will grow back." It was at that point every woman in the salon fell in love with him to the group chorus of "aaawwwww." :) In the mean time, I walked in with a daughter who looked 11 and left with a daughter that looked 16. It was a lot of hair to cut, but it's a really good look on Andi.

Tornado warning

 We had a stormy evening last night.  The tornado sirens went off twice and we could see some crazy looking clouds.  The rotating cell was not near us so we were outside with the neighbors taking pics and chatting about the weather. :)  Since they are both native Texans, we knew we were safe as long as they were still outside.  If they had started to run home, we would have been running towards the door faster than the speed of light. :)

Poopie's Preschool Graduation!

What a day this was.  I can't believe that our little 4 pound 11 oz baby boy just graduated from preschool.  He loved his preschool but can't wait to go to elementry.  Although my heart aches a little more each time he moves a little closer to growing up, I am soooo proud. :)

We got there an hour early so we could get front row seats.

My lovey was the first one to walk down the isle.

At the end of the ceremony, each child gave a rose to their mom. :)

They made a GREAT video of the kids getting interviewed. Poopie is the second from the left.

His celebration requests afterward graduation were ice cream and McDonald's. :)

Once we were home and everyone was in their jammies, Poopie opened his cards.

Preschool Graduation Party!

Last Saturday we had a party to celebrate preschool graduation. The pic below was taken before the bounce house arrived. It was a lot of fun! I was extra excited that our friends Shannon and Konrad were able to make it. They live in AK but are from Cali like us and I went to high school with them both. (They were here for the opening of In "n" Out. :) Anyway, the kids had a great time. We really appreciate our friends who are like family to us.
