Cheyenne's Adoption Finalization - May 8th - 2012

The day started out VERY early... We had to be at the courthouse in Fort Worth (which is about an hour and 15 minutes away) at 7:45am.  My friend Meghan took Poopie and Goosey at 6am (and took Poopie to school) and our friend Sarah took Andi and Miguel to school.  Everyone was dressed and ready to go at 5:45am.  It was nice to be able to really enjoy the moment with Cheyenne.  After the finalization we went to Mimi's for breakfast before heading home.  Later that night we all went out to dinner to celebrate as a family.  (Olive Garden)
It was a wonderful day. :)

Below: this was the same dress Goosey wore for her adoption finalization three years ago so I made this side by side pic... :)

Football sign-ups/tryouts

Poopie is all signed up for flag football in the fall.  The tryouts were held at one of the local high schools.  Can you believe they have an INDOOR practice facility for high school?  Only in Texas. lol  He was so excited to see the our neighborhood high school football players helping out during the skills testing.  You would think they are famous.  :)

School Dance and sleepover

Last Friday Andi had a school dance.  Before the dance her friends came to our house for pics.  Afterwards they came back to our house for pizza and a trip to the mall.  Later, we rented a movie and the girls had a sleepover.  :)

Below: the girls in our van ready for me to drive them to the school... :)
The dance was a Hollywood theme so they got to walk in on a red carpet. :)
They changed clothes after the dance and had pizza before we headed to the mall.

Goosey was very excited to go in the mall like the big girls.  Don't worry, we stayed out of sight so the girls would not lose any cool points... lol

The girls bought matching plastic BFF rings and bracelets.  So Jr. High... lol

They camped out in the game room upstairs.  I love having a house with enough space to throw the tweens during sleepovers.  :)

Ears pierced - 6 months old

Before...

We went to the same place we took Goosey for her ears...

Cheyenne only cried for a few seconds and then was fine...
As per our ear piercing tradition, we then headed over to the mall play area for the kids to enjoy. :)
