Andi's last regular season soccer game

Poopie was very happy to see that the high school football team was outside having spring practice and had to watch for a minute.  (our home games are at the HS) This is the high school our kids will attend and he sees the football players as rock starts... lol

Below: Andi is just to the left of the light pole in the back playing defence.

Below: After the game everyone went to Rosa's for a team dinner.
One of Andi's friends rode with us.

Below: this giant plate is only a little over $3 at our neighborhood Rosa's for Taco Tuesdays! :)

Below: It's hard to tell but Andi got her braces on earlier in the day... :)
The playoffs start Friday night...

Mother's Day

Mother's Day started with Two of the littles bringing me "breakfast" in bed.  :)
Below: Eric made a really cool wall display of the kids hands with pics of each kid inside their particular hand.  VERY cool.  I am going to keep this up for a couple of weeks. :)

We had our friends the Stokers, Carlsons and Cochrans over for "build your own loaded baked potato" dinner.  :)

The Stokers brought their dong Zeek so even Wavo had a friend over this time! :)

Below: after everyone went home I opened gifts and cards from Eric and the kids.

Below: one of the cards Poopie made for me... It says I am Magnificent, Honorable, a Teacher, Excellent, and Rich!  lol  (I wish)  :)

I'm so grateful to be a mother.  It's what I have always wanted for my life.  Nothing could be as rewarding as being a Mommy. :)  I thought often of my Grammie on Mother's Day as I do every day.  I wish I could share this part of my life with her.  Happy Mother's Day to my sweet, perfect Grammie.  I love you forever.

Game room camp out

Last week the forecast was rain/storm as it was time for the Father/Sons church camp out so Eric decided to have the camp out at home in our game room.  The kids got a kick out of it and I am sure we will have to do it again soon.  Yes, Goosey brought her princess tent INSIDE of the big tent.  :)  lol
She's always the girly girl. :)

Cheyenne's Baby Blessing

What a wonderful day for a baby blessing... Mother's Day. :)  Since we finalized Cheyenne's adoption last week we were able to have her official baby blessing at church the following Sunday which also happened to be Mother's Day.  Could there be a better gift? :)  My friend Meghan took some REALLY cute pics before church and we had some great friends in attendance.  Thanks to all who helped make it a special time for us.

Below: some of Eric's friends who helped with the blessing...
Kids posing for one of Meghan's pics... :)
After the blessing sitting on the floor in the RS (women's group) room... :)
