Crazy?

Most of you may know by now that we are trying to adopt again. Some of you may think we are crazy! :) lol Let me assure you, we are not. Well, maybe just a little... :) Anyway, we would like to ask for everyone who would like to support us to please give us the address and phone number to your local hospitals. You can post them here or e-mail us directly @ mal_777@msn.com

We plan on sending our profile directly to the hospital social workers in order to help try and generate leads. Since we are unable to grow our family on our own, we rely on friends, family and of course wonderful, selfless birth families to help us receive a new blessing. If you would like some "pass along" cards, please let me know and I will e-mail or mail them to you. This way, if you hear about a potential adoption situation, you can pass along our contact info. Crawfish Boil Birthday!

Our awesome neighbor Desiree had a Crawfish Boil birthday party tonight. Her equally awesome sister Natasha planned the event and we had so much fun! I have never had crawfish (and still haven't because I could not bring myself to eat them after I saw them alive) lol but Eric, in his usual fashion, finished off about 10 pounds of what he called "craw-dads." The kids dove right in to the southern food and had a great time. Poopie, like Mommy was not interested in eating the "bugs" but he was VERY fond of the jambalaya. :) There was yummy food, great people, laughter, music and best of all, cake! All About Andi

Miguel and Andi both had games this morning so Eric took Poopie with him to Miguel's game and I went to Andi's game. With Daddy taking Poopie, I had a good oppertunity to take some pics and get a video of Andi up to bat. Her team won 18 to 1.

Miguel's Award-Winning Performance

Tonight Miguel was in the 2nd grade production of "Animotion." His "animal" was the Seal. How in the world do you make a kid look like a seal? Well, I ended up dressing him in gray and using scrapbook paper, an old SpongeBob birthday party invitation, a stapler and the face of a seal I had printed on the computer to make a head band. I cropped the pic so it was just the seal's face and Miguel was the body. I felt sorry for his costume until we went to the performance tonight... He was the only seal you could tell was actually a seal. Most of the seals looked like mice. :) I was indeed happy with my creation. lol Miguel did a great job. He had a little speaking part and all the kids did a great job singing and dancing. Poopie was amazed by all the kids singing. He VERY loudly pointed out that he saw Brother and our neighbor Lillie. I was very proud of my great seal son. :)

Flowers and cut lawn

We finally have some flowers in our front yard. I think it looks more "homey" and welcoming. There was a sale at Home Depot and I got all these flowers for around $10! Score! Anyway, Poopie was happy that the lawn was cut so he could run around in our backyard. I am so happy to have a big backyard. We had nothing more than a patio in California. One of these days, when we stumble upon millions of dollars, :) we would like to get a play set for the kids. In the mean time, I am just happy for the space.

Yesterday

Yesterday we went to our church playgroup which was held in a little town near us called Celina. Now, for those of you who are not used to country accents, that is pronounced Celiiiiiiiina with the "i" being the "aye" sound. Don't forget to add the drawl. lol Anyway, this little park was out in the sticks. It was a very pretty drive on the way to the park. We had to pass their old cemetery. After playgroup we watched Poopie's friend Max while his mommy took his new baby sister to the doctor and to run to the store. After refusing to take a nap for fear of missing out on a major event in his little life, he fell asleep while trying to take a quick rest before playing again. :)
