8 Going on 18

Andi turned 8 on Sept. 22nd, but we went out to celebrate on the 29th. We went to this great palce called Gotti Town with our neighbors. It is all you can eat pizza and like Chuck-E-Cheese on steroids. There is a Merry-Go-Round, bumper cars and all kinds of rides and games. Andi had a great time. Our neighbor's kids are the same age as my kids so it works out great. She is doing well in school and loves soccer and girl scouts. Her favorite movie is High School Musical and I can't help but think that is to old for her. I have checked out the movie to make sure it is ok, and it is, but shouldn't she still think it is gross to see a boy and girl kiss? Shouldn't she only be interested in dolls and play-dough, not glitter and giggling with her friends about boys. Yikes. We might have our hands full with this beauty. Dad is already practicing the "kill" stare for the boys...
