Update on Baby Girl

Today Angelina went to the Dr. for her shots. She weighed in at 13 lbs and measured 24 inches long! She is in the 90th percentile for height and 85th for weight. Looks like we have a future basketball player on our hands. Baby girl won't be three months until May 11th and she is already in size 6 months clothes. I swear we are not over-feeding her! :)

It's a Pirates Life for Me!

For Christmas we got Kaleb a little pirate set and put it in his closet and forgot about it until a couple of weeks ago when he started asking me to get his "pirate costume" down. lol oops! Well, it is a big hit. He goes around singing the theme song from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. :) I consider this an extra score because I got the entire package which comes with a treasure chest, all the stuff you see in the pic, "gold", chains, & other pirate stuff for $6 on clearance at Target just a few days before Christmas.

Baby Girl's First Baseball Game

Tonight was beautiful and warm so we were finally able to take the baby out to one of Brother's games. The weather was so nice and I was so excited that Angelina finally got to wear one of her cute outfits. :) Miguel did great. I am glad I was able to go. I love baseball and my family, both together are AWESOME! Below: this is what she did for most of the game... :)

Good deals

I called Time Warner today to get our cable canceled in an effort to save money. We use Time Warner for our phone, Internet and cable. If you call to disconnect, they have a new month to month plan that is a bare bones plan, but all three only cost $80 per month. This is about $50 less per month than we are paying now.

Another cool low-cost event is 31 Cent Scoop Night at Baskin Robins on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 5 P.M. to 10 P.M. They are doing a firefighters fundraiser. We can take the kids for a family night activity and get ice cream for less than $2 for our entire family. :) Now that is music to my ears. You can check their website for participating locations near you.

Kaleb's Fro! :)

While we were getting ready to go to dinner at our friend's house, I decided to brush out Poopie's hair. It is hard to get his hair to fro out because it is so soft, but then I used my bristle hairbrush and that helped. He looked so cute and funny!

A nice night with friends

Tonight, our friends Ingrid & Daniel invited us over for some pizza and Wii. :) I always LOVE to hang out in their backyard. Oh, and spend time with them too... lol

I got a ticket from the most HANDSOME police officer!

My son! :) While I was on the computer, he walked up to me in his helmet and "cop glasses" (as he calls them) and asked me for my "driving lice." lol! He was very serious. Thank goodness the camera was right by me. After I gave him my "lice" I asked him what he was doing and he said he was "a police" like Uncle Issac (Eric's brother) and told me he had to check my "lice." Once he was satisfied that my licence was current, he said I was ok. lol!!!!! I guess three years of watching COPS every Saturday night is rubbing off on him. He tackles Eric and throws him on the ground and says "Get down on the ground! Put your hands behind your back!" Honestly, I hope this is a phase because I would worry WAY to much if he actually wanted to be a cop. In the mean time, watch out for Officer Hill! He is on the job!

Our awesome friend Janie took some pics of the baby for me. The beads and jewelry you see belonged to my Sweet Grammie and are VERY dear to my heart. It breaks my heart and yet melts it at the same time to see my baby girl holding Grammie's "family famous" beads and wearing the bracelet she got from a suitor right before she met my Papa. :) Janie took over 275 pics for us so it was torture to pic a few to post here. lol I recommend her to everyone in North Dallas! http://imagesfromoz.com/
