This year marked the 7th year for our 4th bash. I LOVE this holiday and I LOVE LOVE those who share it with us. For the first time ever it rained on us but it didn't damper the fun. :)

It started to pour!
Below: we thought the fireworks were going to get washed out but as we were heading to see if we still had a small chance they would continue, we got a rainbow as a sign from above! lol :) Sure enough, as soon as we got there, it stopped raining!

we were outside at our party too when that freak storm rolled in!
And we watched 3 fireworks shows on the 3rd from our bedroom window upstairs. Then another one on the 4th...it was pretty cool even though they were not up close at least the kids were tucked in sound asleep!

looks like you guys had fun! i'm sorry we missed it. i forgot how the days blur together when you have a newborn in the house. next year, i'll remember...i swear. :D
