This year the kids participated in the church Children's Nativity Choir and they did a GREAT job! Since this is a community event and NOT sacrament I saw VERY worthy members with video cameras so I joined in and took some samples of the songs for Grandma. :) Lord forgive me if that was wrong. :) The Nativity was as beautiful as ever. I appreciate all those people who spent so much time making this happen for everyone to enjoy! Kaleb and Eric were not able to make it because it was Kaleb;s last basketball practice of the season and it was a kids vs dads game. :)

Andi & Miguel's school choir performed for their school this morning...

The kids performed for their classmates at school so it was cool to see the entire assembly.

The first one is the pledge of allegiance because here in TEXAS they say their own pledge to the TEXAS flag. :) I had to get it on video as proof for our Cali friends. The HONOR of living in Texas is big time in these here parts. lol The middle ones are their songs and the last one is sooo fun. It is what they do when they are celebrating a birthday. :)

Let it Snow!

This morning we woke up to snow! We were only able to play for a minute because my daycare child was arriving soon but Kaleb had a blast. It was STILL snowing when we went inside. I LOVE Texas! :)

About Our Family...

Eric and I married in Dec. of 2003 and we are the parents of 5 beautiful adopted children. Our two oldest children were placed with us through foster care at ages 5 and 6. We knew someone from our church who was adopting them and she could not continue with the adoption so we took them in and their adoptions were final one year later. Our youngest son was placed with us at 3 days old through private adoption. His birth mom had him in her high school restroom on the toilet. She said she didn't know she was pg. We are SO grateful that her and the birthfather chose adoption even at their young age. Our friend worked at the hospital where he was taken and she helped facilitate a private adoption. We had no idea of him until 5 hours before we brought him home! No bottles, no baby items, no car seat, nothing! :) Our middle daughter came to us through our church adoption agency. Her birth mom picked us out of a bunch of profiles after getting to know our family when she was about 20 weeks along. We were so blessed to bring her home straight from the hospital when she was three days old. Our youngest baby came home at 3 days old. Her birth mom is a close friend whom we have known for two years. She is SUCH A DOLL! We are sooo grateful to have her join our family. We moved from So.California to N.Texas in Dec.of 2006. We love it here and are glad to have an affordable home! :)
