Please pray!

I just found that our dear friends Jon and Jennifer's son Jacob has cancer. This is such a huge shock to us so I cannot imagine how their family is handling this. I would like to ask people who read my blog to please go to their site and leave words of prayer and encouragement on their page. Even though you might not know them, we can all have a hand in helping them to feel better. Here is the link to her site. Please add this family to your prayers tonight...

The gift of a lifetime...

We got a wonderful surprise today. A piano!!!! A wonderful family from church (The Pratts) are moving and they could not take the piano with them. They heard that we wanted a piano (more like we wanted one but knew we could NEVER afford to buy one) lol so they gave their piano to us!!! What a huge blessing. We are sooooo thankful. Does anyone know about pianos or where we can find a piano tuner for cheap? There are a few loose panels and a few keys that need to be replaced. If anyone knows how to fix this kind of stuff, please let us know. Eric will do the work if someone can tell him how to do it. It is beautiful piano and our family is so grateful. Andi was literally jumping up and down when they were bringing it in the house. LOL

Where is my little baby?

Because we used Poopie's old bouncy chair for baby Kaylee the other day, it got me thinking of a certain little tiny 4 lb 11 oz baby that used to sleep in that chair. (Until he was old enough to get out.) :) I have to admit, this post has me in tears. My heart aches to think of him leaving me for college or his mission. Even worse, his marriage! Where is the time going? I'm sorry, I know growing up is part of the deal, but it is painful for me. Do you think he will want to live with us forever? lol

I love what the podium says...

Play Date with Matt Mo

We were lucky enough to be able to watch Matt Mo while his Mommy and Ben were at an appointment. Actually, Eric watched him. :) I had a Dr's appointment. Poopie was in 7th Heaven.

Baby Kylee

Today we got to watch baby Kylee for the Meldrum family. Poopie said..." She's not going home..." lol We busted out Poopie's old bouncer and as soon as I turned it on, her eyes rolled back and she was out. :) It was fun to have a baby in the house. Thanks for letting me "borrow her" Misty! I picked a new song on here just for her... :)

Poopie Post

My sweet little Poopie boy had a fall today and messed up his cheek/eye. He keeps telling me to kiss it. :) Naturally, about one hour later he is out with Daddy playing baseball. He calls it "Bat & Ball." lol

Below: Running to second base!

Below: Ummm... Babe, I think that helmet is a little too small... :)

We made a great move!

Our city has been named 14th in the top 25 cities in all the US! Numbers 15, 18 and 20 are all in North Texas too! :)

Water = Fun

Yesterday, we went on a play date to a local park. This park has a REALLY cool splash pad and the kids had a ball. I have NEVER seen a park with a splash pad in Cali and here they are everywhere. I guess this is one of the perks of North Texas. lol No beach, but a lot of splash pads. :) My favorite pics are the first and last ones.

Family Home Evening

For those of you who are not members of my church, Family Home Evening is special family time every Monday night where you come together as a family, learn a little "spiritual lesson" and try to do this all while keeping your children interested. :) For our FHE last night, we did family slip "n" slide time and watched some bible stories on video. Even Daddy got in on the slip "n" slide action. You know I HAD to get a video of that moment. :) The last pic was taken when we were watching the bible stories. I loved that the fam was vegged out on the floor. Although they drive me crazy, I really dig my little family! Below: HERE

HE

COMES!

To see Eric go on the slip 'n' slide for the first time since childhood, watch the video below! :)
By the way, I swear to you he is wearing long swim trunks, but they are hard to see because they are brown. I don't want anyone thinking they are watching some kind of "show" on this little family site... lol!!!!
