Yipee... I am sooooo excited! NOT!!!

Just maxin' and relaxin'

This is the life for a certain 2 year old little boy...

I never thought I would see the day when...

I was HAPPY to see the gas prices at $3.26

It was 99 cents per gallon when I graduated high school. (1995) Yikes.

Space Cadets

I was on the computer when I heard Poopie saying, "A Meteor, A Meteor!" I went to look in the play room and saw that the kids had built their own spaceship out of the baby gate and bin lid. Andi was manning the controls with her fake laptop, Miguel was looking through his telescope (paper towel roll) to see if there was any flying space objects that would hit their spaceship, and Poopie was looking through the window (baby gate) to see the other planets. Andi and Miguel had found every ball in the house to make up all the planets and they named them off for me. When I went back to check on them again later, they were sitting down for a "Space Man" dinner. LOL I was happy to see their imaginations at work. I guess I should try turning off the TV more often... :)

The Hills Welcome the Christmas Season!

That's right folks. Our Christmas Season has officially started with a family viewing of "the Grinch." Normally, I start listening to Christmas music right after my friend Dee sends my Christmas ornament gift for my birthday (Aug 10th) , but this year I promised Eric that I would not start listening until September. Don't worry; I don’t stat decorating until November. Poopie was a little scared of the Grinch at first. He kept saying... "Poopie is not afraid, Poopie is not afraid." He stayed next to me for the first half and then he slowly made his way to sit with brother and sissy in front of the TV. Speaking of the TV, no need to call CPS; the kids are not as close to the TV as they appear in the pic. LOL

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIGUEL!!!!!

Tonight we celebrated Miguel's 8th birthday. He had some friends over for cake & ice cream, they played outside and Miguel opened his gifts. (After Dad "tested them" of course.) lol :)

It was a great evening. We love you son!!!!

Water Slide Fun

Yesterday, we went to Ingrid and Daniel's house for a get-together. They had an awesome blow-up slide and their back yard was soooo nice. It faced a creek and had such beautiful trees. The kid thought they hit the backyard jackpot. :) Poopie was a little smll sogetting to the to took Miguel pushing fromt he bottom and ndi pullig from the top. Al the othe kids were so patient waiting for him to get up there... :) A funny story, I met Ingrid and Daniel when I was the Staffing Manager for a customer service firm. I saw (909) on Daniel's resume and told him on the phone that would hire him no matter what because he had the California Connection... LOL Turns out, he and Ingrid moved from Rancho Cucamonga at the same time we did and we used to live about 5 blocks away from each other. :) It took moving to Texas for us to meet up and become friends. Her mom just mailed her some beach sand from Cali and Ingrid promised that I could have some... :)
