Baby Girl's one week birthday...

We celebrated by taking her to Girl and Rick's to watch her first episode of LOST but then later that night she started breathing heavy and had a lot of congestion so we brought her to the local ER. After giving her a chest x-ray to check for RSV, they said she was fine and were ready to release us with a few instructions on how to help her to feel better. We know that we took her to the ER for something that only turned out to be a little cold, but we are the type of parents that rather be safe than sorry. :)

My POOR POOR Baby

He is soooo sick. I don't think I have ever seen him like this...

On another note, Baby Girl LOVES looking at herself in the mirror on top of her bouncy. :)

Visit with birth mom

Last night Eric and I spend about an hour visiting with birth mom and meeting her family. It was a great visit and she looks wonderful! Already she has lost 15 pounds and the baby is only 6 days old. :) I wish I could do that... lol We were so touched that BM and her parents gave us some wonderful gifts for the baby. Of course, we hope they know that the gift we have already been given will last us for all eternity. :) I would like to ask that you continue to pray for both the birth mom and the birth father. I know most of us could not possibly imagine what they must be going through at this time...

Doctor Dayz

Angelina needed her newborn follow up appointment and at the same time Poopie was getting pretty sick. Turns out Angelina is great (she has gained 2 ounces) but Kaleb has the flu and some kind of chest cold! :( My poor baby is so sick. He is such a big boy. At the Dr they had to stick his finger to take blood and he didn't even flinch. He was proud to sport his band aid on his thumb. Today he is worse than yesterday. He has also developed a cold sore on the inside of his lip meaning that he is still contagious. We are SWIMMING in hand sanitizer around here. Our day was made easier because our wonderful friend Amber Shelton brought us an awesome dinner! Thank you Amber!

Meals on Wheels

Tonight our awesome friend Haley brought us a yummy pot roast dinner along with a delish cake. I was happy that she was able stay for a minute to hold the baby. Last night our friend Kristen brought us some great tasting tacos. We are soooo grateful!
Andi's favorite person Ashley (our neighbor who is a senior in high school) brought her a bed set and gave her a sweater. Andi was OVER the moon!!! :)
