Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We are observing the day by wearing green clothes, eating green cupcakes and we will use a green table cloth for dinner. That's about it! :)

Lollipop, Lollipop, Oh Lolli-Lolli-pop

Today Goosey (aka:Angelina) had her first lollipop. I didn't start by giving her one... Andi let her take a small lick of hers then the baby screamed out... "Mine!" as she grabbed it from Andi's mouth. Although she stole the lollipop from Andi, she was still willing to share with her and the rest of us. haha :)

I miss his curls...

I did what I said I would not do... I took Kaleb for a haircut today. Eric has been hounding me for months to cut his hair, but I love his curls sooo much. Today Poopie said he wanted a "baseball haircut" so I caved. :)

For grandma

This is a post mostly for Grandma because most others won't care to watch the video. lol Andi & Miguel had school choir "gig" at school where they were the "opening act" for the actual performance by one of the grades. There song was the "eddicate rap" where they laid out good manners for concert goers. lol

About Our Family...

Eric and I married in Dec. of 2003 and we are the parents of 5 beautiful adopted children. Our two oldest children were placed with us through foster care at ages 5 and 6. We knew someone from our church who was adopting them and she could not continue with the adoption so we took them in and their adoptions were final one year later. Our youngest son was placed with us at 3 days old through private adoption. His birth mom had him in her high school restroom on the toilet. She said she didn't know she was pg. We are SO grateful that her and the birthfather chose adoption even at their young age. Our friend worked at the hospital where he was taken and she helped facilitate a private adoption. We had no idea of him until 5 hours before we brought him home! No bottles, no baby items, no car seat, nothing! :) Our middle daughter came to us through our church adoption agency. Her birth mom picked us out of a bunch of profiles after getting to know our family when she was about 20 weeks along. We were so blessed to bring her home straight from the hospital when she was three days old. Our youngest baby came home at 3 days old. Her birth mom is a close friend whom we have known for two years. She is SUCH A DOLL! We are sooo grateful to have her join our family. We moved from So.California to N.Texas in Dec.of 2006. We love it here and are glad to have an affordable home! :)
