Christmas Eve Pajama Party

Below: Tamales, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, green bean casserole, salad, baked ziti, stuffed mushrooms, ham & rolls. :)

We did a Christmas Eve program followed by a performace by each family :)

After the kids opened their gifts, we had an adult White Elephant gift exchange.

Opening gifts with Grandma

We went out to eat for Grandma's birthday then went home so the kids could open the gifts from her before she left the next day. Kind of like a pre-Christmas for them. Lucky kids.

About Our Family...

Eric and I married in Dec. of 2003 and we are the parents of 5 beautiful adopted children. Our two oldest children were placed with us through foster care at ages 5 and 6. We knew someone from our church who was adopting them and she could not continue with the adoption so we took them in and their adoptions were final one year later. Our youngest son was placed with us at 3 days old through private adoption. His birth mom had him in her high school restroom on the toilet. She said she didn't know she was pg. We are SO grateful that her and the birthfather chose adoption even at their young age. Our friend worked at the hospital where he was taken and she helped facilitate a private adoption. We had no idea of him until 5 hours before we brought him home! No bottles, no baby items, no car seat, nothing! :) Our middle daughter came to us through our church adoption agency. Her birth mom picked us out of a bunch of profiles after getting to know our family when she was about 20 weeks along. We were so blessed to bring her home straight from the hospital when she was three days old. Our youngest baby came home at 3 days old. Her birth mom is a close friend whom we have known for two years. She is SUCH A DOLL! We are sooo grateful to have her join our family. We moved from So.California to N.Texas in Dec.of 2006. We love it here and are glad to have an affordable home! :)
