Free! My favorite word! :)

On Monday (Labor Day) my friend Dee e-mailed me to tell me that Chick-fil-A was having a free chicken sandwich night if you dressed in your favorite team shirts. Naturally, we got all dressed up in our Angels gear and headed out for a free family dinner. :) This was Baby Girl's first time in her Angels outfit. It used to be Poopie's. (Courtesy of Dee:)

Labor Day

We celebrated on Sunday evening by having our friends/neighbors over for hot dogs & BBQ chicken. We had a great time.
Thanks for coming over Joni, Kent, Lillie & Connor!

Blessings

Yesterday (Sunday) Kaleb & Angelina had their church blessings. It was wonderful and Eric did a GREAT job of performing their blessings. Both kids were surrounded by awesome Priesthood holders who cared about them both. We were very lucky to have our friend/neighbor Joni and her daughter Lillie join us for church. Girl and Rick came to Sacrament so Rick could be there to assist with the blessings. Angelina's dress was given to us by the Routson's. Shandi's mom made it and we LOVE it so much. Purple was my Grammie's favorite color so it had extra special meaning. Thanks everyone!

Drum roll please!

So Andi & Miguel and one of my daycare kids Lillie were trying to get in the school choir. Not everyone would make it and they could not find out until this past Friday by way of a letter that was sent home in their folders. They had strict instructions not to open them until they were home so naturally, we did the honors RIGHT after school. :)Below: Before...

Got to the part that said they made it!

After... :)

Frannie is not impressed. :)

Walkin' around

Our friends the Routson's gave us their old baby walker and Twinkle Star loves it! :) She played so much, she wore herself out. :) Last week Angelina had to get more shots and she now weighs 20 lbs! Here she is from that night, shot band aids and all. The nurse had never seen thighs bigger than hers. lol

Getting ready for his special day!

Every big boy who goes to school needs a haircut and a new outfit for his first day. :) Luckily, the outfit he picked out was on clearance for $7.

Goodbye big curls! :(

Below: He picked out his own football outfit. :)

Ready for School Mommy!

Get Ready, Get Set, Don't go...

My perfect baby boy is now a big preschooler! :) He started last Tuesday. Eric bet me a neck massage that Poopie would cry when I left but I knew he wouldn't. (I love winning!) lol In fact, he was so preoccupied with his "school work" I had sneak in a kiss and hug. On his second day (he goes Tuesdays and Thursdays) he asked me not to pick him up for a long time. lol After school He proudly shows me is behavior chart with green stickers and explains that green is the best. :) He loves his teacher (she is also our friend from church) and loves making new friends. I am soo happy for him, but I have to admit it has been hard for me. Now that the school ball is rolling, we will never turn back. My baby is growing up!

When we walked outside to get in the van, Kaleb opened the door on the passenger side and sat in the front seat. When I asked him why, he said that he was now allowed to sit there because he was in school and a big boy. lol
Below: getting ready to walk in to school! Kaleb with his teacher... Starting his first assignment! Below: After school! He LOVED showing me is stuff and told me to take a pic. :)After school I took him to McDonald's as a special treat. We ended his special day with an ice cream cone. He told me as we were getting out of the car that he didn't want his special day to end. :)Minutes after the ice cream pic was taken, this is what he looked like... :)

After he woke up he had to call Grandma and tell her about his day.Showing me one of the crafts he made at school. It's called the Kissing Hands. :)Later the next night, he asked Daddy to help him with his homework. His assignment was to fill a bag with 4 or 5 items that helped tell about himself. He put in a monster truck because he likes them and had a monster truck birthday party, a picture of Jesus because he loves Jesus and church, two pennies because he is really in to finding money for his piggy bank, an m&m wrapper because m&m's are his favorite candy, and one of his floatees because he loved swimming in our pool all summer. :)

Football History

The new high school just blocks from our house was completed this summer and they had their first football game ever about a week or so ago. Eric made sure to take the kids so they could be part of their high school's history in the making. :)

They are holding up the Coyote sign. Go Coyotes! :)
