2 years ago today, our sweet Goosey Girl entered this world...

How can this be? I remember meeting her for the first time. She was only two hours old. We didn't get to hold her until she was two days old. I ached to pick her up as I watched her in her little nursery bed. Has it already been two years? It feels like yesterday. This baby girl as been a blessing and a half to our family. Her smile lights up the darkest room. Her laugh fills the house. When she screams her demands, it's like music to our ears. lol Goosey loves to sing. She sings ALL the time. Her favorite cartoons are SpongeBob, Dora, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She will have a Minnie Mouse birthday party tomorrow. :) Goosey LOVES to cuddle. She is obsessed with tags (especially the ones on clothes) and will carry them around all day and needs to cuddle with a tag if she is tired. She loves ALL things girl. I can see by the way she takes care of her babies that she is very maternal. Daddy is her hero to end all heros. She will love on me all day until Daddy gets home and then I can take a long walk off a short pier as far as she's concerned. :) We love you so much Goosey Girl!

Kaleb's 5th Birthday (the actual day before the big party...)

We celebrated Poopie's bday with a little dinner and by watching the Super Bowl. :) His actual birthday party had to be rescheduled due to weather so we still wanted to do something to mark is special day. We invited the Carlsons which Kaleb was extra excited about since Aaron is Kaleb's BFF. :)

5 years ago today this perfect baby was brought to this earth

He had a traumatic birth, it was a bumpy road, he was a miracle. I remember getting that call about him. I remember when the nursery door opened and my eyes locked right on him. I knew that was our baby. I knew he was meant for me. All the questions about my infertility and recent miscarriage were gone. I knew Heavenly Father had His on way to bring this baby to us. He was so small. 4 lbs 11oz. I was shocked that they would let us bring home a baby that small. The poor baby had cuts on his face from where the toilet smacked him in the face (his birth mother accidentally gave birth to him in her high school restroom) I had never seen anything so perfect. Today this baby is 5 years old. 5! Where has the time gone? Why must time move so fast? I get less and less cuddles every day. I hear "I am not a baby" more and more each day. :) He used to say that he will marry me and live with us forever. Now he says he will marry someone else and live next door. :) Happy Birthday our sweet Poopie Boy! You light up our world.

Try and play outside even though the high temp is in the teens, and only last about 10 minutes. :)

have our traditional "Fun-Old-Fashion-Family Breakfast" complete with warm cinnamon rolls. :)
