Christmas Eve

This year we hosted a Christmas Eve dinner at our home and enjoyed the company of three great families. (The Youngs, McKendricks & The Kirkpatricks) After dinner, we had a quick game of "Buzz Word" then exchanged gifts. After the festivities, the kids went outside to play in the snow. Yes, the SNOW! We had a White Christmas here in North Texas! We had a great night and my heart was full thanks to friends and family. Once everyone went home, the kids got the cookies & milk ready for Santa and ALL of them were eager to go to bed. :)
The day started with Kaleb and Miguel helping me make the turkey... Then, we saw it was snowing and we had to get a piece of that action!

Below: Andi & Miguel eating the mashed potatoes off the beaters like my sweet Grammie used to let me do every time she made them for me. :)

Our table... One regular table with a card table put on the end to seat 10. lol I am had to get creative with shapes and space.
The families... The McKendricks
The Kirkpatricks

Once the party was over, the kids headed outside because... wait for it... IT WAS SNOWING! :)

After all the festivities, it was time to prepare the cookies for Santa then go to bed!

Here they are so cute in the jammies Grandma sent them. :)
