Bowling Birthday Party!

Tonight, my friend Girl (aka: Liz) threw me an awesome girls - only bowling birthday party. It was soooo cool! Haley, Brianne, Kristin, & Liz were so much fun. Across the bowling alley, (out of sight, lol) Liz’s husband, Kristin's husband & kids and Eric & the kids were also bowling. They were only allowed to join us for cake. lol Thank you girls for such a fun birthday party!
Girl, thank you for the super yummy cake!

Thanks again for the fun time girls!!!

Adoption Conference

Eric and I were asked to be speakers at our church's national adoption conference that was held today. Two other couples in our ward who have adopted (the Meldrums and the Fishers) were also speakers. It was a good conference today. We are going for the second half tomorrow.

(Luke is not pictured because he had to go back to work after their presentation)

Let my people go!

Every time we put a shirt over Poopie's head, I tell him he looks like Moses from the cartoon movie. Now, when we put his shirt on his head, he says, "Let my people go!" lol

5 years ago today

Eric made the best move of his life and asked me to marry him. lol :) We went to an Angels game and after the game had ended the fireworks show started. As soon as the song "a Moment Like This" from Kelly Clarkson started playing, I looked over to see Eric kneeling in the isle with a ring box in his hand. We were sitting on the field level so everyone above us saw him and started cheering and clapping. They were so loud I could barely hear what he was saying. And believe me, after 8 years of waiting I wanted to hear every word! :) I have to be honest; I loved that night more than my wedding day. It was so special and beautiful. Today, when I woke up, Eric surprised me with sweetest card. When I look at how far we have come in 5 short years, I am amazed.

(Side note, I ALMOST didn't post these pics because I was so big then, but at least I don't look like that anymore. LOL)

E, I love you babe. Thank you for making me the happiest woman alive 5 years ago tonight and every night since then.
By the way, the Angels won! Go Angels!

Making something out of nothing

Today we had to take a LONG drive to Irving to go to my medical appointment so on the way back from the "boring" trip we decided to take the kids to McDonald's. There was a HUGE one near my appointment and the kids eyes were the size of their heads when we pulled into the parking lot. At that moment it was apparent that the boring trip was worth their while... :)

Poopy Poopie

Yesterday morning we were waiting to go to the pool. Poopie asked why we were not leaving yet and I told him it was because we were waiting for him to take his morning poop. Suddenly, he crouched over and started grunting and shaking. I asked him what he was doing and he told me he was trying to hurry and do his poo-poo. LOL I had to grab the camera for blackmail pics that I can use during his teen years...
