I LOVE that there are very active hot air balloon enthusiasts that live around here! lol We see hot air balloons all the time, but never RIGHT over our house. We were able to wave to them and the kids were very excited. I must thank my great neighbor Sherry for calling us and telling us to go outside. Here's a couple of pics and a short video... We could even hear the roar of the air going in. Way cool! Thanks Sherry! I have to point out the beautiful blue skies. What a nice day.

Cool! All we get are planes from Lunkin Airport and the huge "swarm" of starlings that chased people inside. Guess no one wanted to be hit by bird poop!

when i first read your post i thought you said you like all the attractive hot air balloonist around here. before i reread it, i was thinking 'she must get really close to see if they're cute or not.'

That is way cool! I covered a hot air balloon festival at the last paper I worked for and got to stand right by one as they were getting ready to send it up. It's amazing.
I love hot air balloons. When Chad and I were first married we lived by a big park that every year the city would have a big festival with hot air balloons so we would go watch them launch one morning each yer. It was fun! And then it was really fun to wake up in the morning to the sound of the fire blowing right outside our windows.
There is just something about a hotair balloon!
