Our friends the Hudrliks came to visit from CA!

We were so excited to be able to see our friends from our old church in CA tonight while they were in town on business. They took us out to dinner at a real Texas style restaurant with great food. This awesome family (the kids were not on this trip) was a part of all of our growth in Cali including our adoptions, baptisms, and watching us go to the temple to get sealed. (Dana held Poopie's hand for the sealing. :) We had a great night getting caught up on who moved from our old ward, who is having a baby etc. We miss everyone soooo much. Our church family REALLY was a real part of our family and I still miss them now as much as I did when we got here. :) So, Highland Ward, if you are reading this, we love and miss you! Dana and Bill; please give the kids a hug and a kiss for us and we will see you again for your business trip next year!

that is one of the hardest things about moving, who you leave behind...

"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard..."(from Annie.)

We have been meaning to eat at the restaurant. It's the one by the Heritage Museum right? How was it?

Susan - after the adoptions were final we were able to go to our church's temple for kind of like church ceremony where we are "sealed" together as a family in the eyes of Heaven. We told the kids, we don't just have a court date, we have a God date. lol
