Our family wants to take this day to honor the victims of 9/11. I think we all remember what we were doing the moment we found out our country was being attacked. I could not watch normal TV shows for at least a month. I was fixated on CNN. I cried all the time. I felt so sorry for all those people who died and the loved ones they left behind. I still do. It's important that we don't let time dull our reverence towards this day.

Amen. I still can't believe it's been eight years.
I totally agree Lisa. It is a day that any reference to brings tears to my eyes immediately. I can't talk about it or see images of that day without crying. We'll never forget.

I wish too that "God Bless America" was still posted everywhere as it was in the days after 9/11.
