Today school was canceled for Eric and the kids. One of my daycare moms is a teacher so I didn't have her kids today, but I did have Lillie and Connor and the kids had sooooo much fun! Our entire neighborhood was out enjoying all the snow. Mr. Dylan and Mr. Tim built forts, the Bundy's had an "Oklahoma" snow man, and all the kids on our street played and had snowball fights etc. Later in the day I saw a spot for sledding and since we didn't have sleds, we tried the lid of a plastic bin. It didn't work but some nice people that were already out there let us borrow their blow up tube. Turns out all the kids there knew each other from school. I LOVE the small town feeling we get living here! Anyway, what a day! We LOVE Texas!

When you need a sled you can just use garbage bags! But they go fast :) Looks like fun was had by everyone!!

Ah, snow is so much more fun when you're a kid and don't have to worry about how you're going to get to work and stuff. Love the pictures! That fort looks pretty sweet.
Isn't the snow so much fun? People around here aren't out in it making snowmen and forts like there - probably because we get so much every year! But, for us CA folks, it's pretty darn exciting.
