Visit to San Antonio Hospital & Our old house

Poopie was taken here after he was born in the bathroom of Upland high school. (In the toilet) We got "the call" about him when he was three days old and got him the same day. We have such fond memories of this place and we are so grateful to everyone who helped us get Kaleb. We wanted to visit Sara who was the hospital social worker who helped facilitate the adoption. The birth mother originally picked an adoptive couple who didn't really want him because he was so small and had a hole in his heart. She rocked him for over two hours and promised to find him a home with a family who LOVED him. We ARE that family. :) He is my air. Below: Maternity ward. :) I always thought I would have my first baby at San Antonio Hosp, but never dreamed it would be that way. :)

We were also happy to have two other short visits that day. One with the Lynch's who had Andi & Miguel before us. (Sue and Ali weren't home)
Then, we met with Kaleb's paternal birth grandmother (Dawn) whom we had not seen since we got him. We were trying to squeeze all the visits in as possible that day. :) Before we left for Orange County, we stopped by our old house in Rancho. It was for rent. Maybe we should move back? lol I don't think we could manage in 1100 sq ft. AND the rent was higher than our mortgage payment for our 2735 sq ft house. Hmmmm... let me think...Andi & Miguel's old school... Lightfoot Elementry

Again, that must have been so fun for the social worker to see how Kaleb turned out.
